Monday: Trump on Restoring Law & Order
What the Olympics say about the USA
Guest: Charles Krauthammer

Talking Points began by reporting that the U.S. won 121 medals at the Rio Olympics, by far the most of any country. "[T]his country remains a superpower not only in military matters but also in athletics," The Factor said.

Talking Points lamented that America's image in the world is distorted because the media portrays the U.S. as an anti-immigrant country and the far-right downplays the achievements of minorities.

"However, the truth was put forth by our Olympic athletes who performed magnificently and once again proved that America is a place of tremendous achievement," The Factor said.

Charles Krauthammer then joined The Factor to react.

"Well, I agree what you said about the Olympic spirit," Krauthammer said. "I agree what you said about the lies the left has told about America but I'm not quite sure how I see her one is connected with the other. Look, the reason that we dominate the medal is because we are, I think, the third most populist nation on earth. We are not the medal winner, the chief medal winner on per capita basis. ... I thrill of the Americans who win. I thrill also at the Kenyan who won the marathon."
Trump on the Issues
Guest: Donald Trump

Trump has made numerous promises on the campaign trail. The Factor asked the GOP presidential nominee how he would accomplish his policy goals.

The Factor first asked about Trump's deportation policy.

"We are going to get rid of the bad [illegal immigrants]," Trump said. "The bad ones are going to be out of here fast. And you know there are a plenty of bad ones, gang members, gang leaders. ... They are going out, they are going to be out of here so fast, your head will spin. As far as the rest, we are going to go through the process like they are now perhaps with a lot more energy and we're going to do it only through the system of laws."

On how to stop crime in urban areas like Chicago, Trump said he would hire better leaders to deal with the issue. "It's a little bit like we could win the war a lot quicker if we would let our generals do the job properly," Trump said.

The Factor also asked Trump how he would deal with the recent string of attacks on police officers.

"By giving [police officers] back their spirit and by allowing them to go and counter attack," Trump said. "I mean, it's ridiculous what's happening."
Changes for the Trump Campaign
Guest: Donald Trump

The Trump campaign has had several shakeups to its top staff this summer, with previous top leaders Corey Lewandowski and Paul Manafort being forced out.

The Factor asked if Trump showed poor judgment in hiring Lewandowski and Manafort.

"In the meantime in my company, I have had people for many, many years," Trump responded. "And I have done that. I just wanted to make this change. I felt very comfortable with the people that I had. I'd like them for a long time. And I wanted to make this change for a while and I made it."
Reacting to the Trump Interview
Guests: Katie Pavlich & Jessica Ehrlich

The Factor asked Katie Pavlich and Jessica Ehrlich for their takes on Trump's appearance on The Factor.

"Well, I think that he is clearly showing that he is narrowing down what he wants people to hear on the campaign trail," Pavlich said. "I really like him talking about criminal aliens in this country rather than talking about the broad spectrum of illegal immigration."

Ehrlich, meanwhile, criticized Trump for not being more specific.

"I think over and over again, it was clear that Mr. Trump's policies lack any kind of specificity," Ehrlich said.
Miller on the Trump Campaign
Guest: Dennis Miller

Polls show Trump way behind with African-Americans, and The Factor asked Miller for his thoughts on the matter.

Miller said he didn't understand why African-Americans don't give Republicans a shot.

"There is 73% single parent rate [among African-Americans]," Miller said. "Now I look at that and go check, I'm out. I'll go and try something else."
Best of Watters' World
Guest: Jesse Watters

The Factor played hilarious clips of past Watters' World segments, including Watters' trip to a "pot tour" in Colorado, his conversations with college students about microagressions, and his survey of New York City's massive traffic problems.
Bumper Sticker Madness
"There is a bumper sticker being sold that is very curious. It says, 'You keep your Bill O'Reilly, I'll keep my Bill O'Rights.'

"How delightful. It costs forty cents, which is appropriate pricing considering the accuracy of message.

"Also, they may be keeping the price low for all you Bernie Sanders fans.

"Now the bumper sticker comes out of a far-left concern in Minneapolis, but I really don't understand it.

"I'm all for the Bill of Rights, as everybody knows.

"And one of our most cherished freedoms is that folks have a right to be morons, which this bumper sticker company has truly embraced."
