Pelosi putting troops in more danger
"President Obama has made it clear that he does not want pictures taken in criminal investigations of US military people released to the world. The president understands that any scenes of prisoner abuse by Americans will inflame terrorism and lead to more anti-American feeling. The Senate also realizes that and passed a provision that would keep the pictures locked down for five years. But Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other far-left zealots are fighting against the Senate action. The first obligation of every elected official is to protect the folks, and Pelosi is playing politics with people's lives. In an unbelievable display of hypocrisy, radical loons are still accusing me of contributing to the murder of Dr. Tiller, but those same people want those pictures out. Incredible! Thousands of you have contacted Speaker Pelosi, but millions of Americans should be writing to her. Most Democrats, the president included, are doing the right thing. But Nancy Pelosi is not. Let her hear about it."
The Factor was joined by Senators Joseph Lieberman and Lindsey Graham, co-sponsors of a provision that would keep the inflammatory photos locked away. "If the House drops the provision," Graham declared, "American soldiers are going to be subject to increased violent attack. Every picture becomes a bullet or an IED and the Congress will have let our troops down. Young Americans are going to get killed." Lieberman added that a few Democrats are putting ideology above common sense. "There is no rational or acceptable explanation for this. We have the president saying that the release of these photos will endanger the lives of American troops, we have the Senate saying we agree. But there is a small group in the House Democratic Caucus saying they won't vote for the war funding bill unless that photo provision is taken out." The Factor added a personal comment about Speaker Pelosi: "I'm starting to dislike this woman because she is putting some of my friends in physical danger."

Laura Ingraham: Attacks continue from the left
Left wing talking heads, among them Joan Walsh of Salon.com, continue to blame Bill for the murder of abortionist George Tiller. Radio talk show host Laura Ingraham entered the No Spin Zone with her analysis of the situation. "The left uses hateful rhetoric when the left thinks it's justified," Ingraham said. "So the people on MSNBC will call President Bush a 'war criminal' and make hateful comments about Karl Rove, they direct comments at you or Rush Limbaugh because you have a different view than the liberal left-wing elite. They'll also link you or me with violent acts that everyone condemns." Ingraham then opined on David Letterman's odious comments about Sarah Palin and her family. "If Letterman or anyone said anything like this about anyone connected with the Obamas, they would be destroyed in the media, it would be covered as 'right-wing hate speech,' but when it's Sarah Palin you can get away with saying anything you want. The double standard is glaring."

Family of PVT Long responds
Last week Army Private William "Andy" Long was assassinated in Arkansas by an Islamic American who was apparently avenging deaths of Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Factor welcomed the victim's father Daris Long, who spoke lovingly about his son: "He was a good son who brought a lot of joy to our lives. Andy joined the Army because he wanted to get out and see the world, he was an infantryman and really wanted to be part of a team. I can not believe the outpouring of support from the Army and from people all over." The Factor paid tribute to Private Long and his father: "Our condolences to your family, and please let us know if we can do anything. We will honor Andy's memory here and we will donate $50,000 to the Wounded Warrior Project in his name. It's the least we can do."

Far left attacks those with different opinions
The Factor was joined by Bishop Harry Jackson, who has been vocal in his opposition to same-sex marriage. Jackson revealed that he is being harassed by folks on the other side of the issue: "They printed my home address in two newspapers," Jackson said, "and there have been e-mails saying they want to destroy my church. This minority is trying to rise up and impose their will on the majority. They don't care what happens to my daughters or my wife, they just want it their way and they will intimidate us into submission if they can. But I am praying for them and forgiving them." The Factor vowed to help Bishop Jackson in any way possible: "If anybody bothers you or your family, I want you to call me and we will deal with those people. You are an American and you have the right to your opinion."

Reading suspected terrorists their rights?
According to Congressman Mike Rogers, the Obama administration is ordering military personnel to read captured Al Qaeda and Taliban fighters their Miranda rights. Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly opined on the story and its ramifications. "Barack Obama is changing our approach in the field," Kelly averred. "He views these people as criminals, not necessarily as terrorists, so he is making a shift to the way we were pre-9/11 where we would treat them as criminals." Kelly also reported on white supremacist James von Brunn, who killed a security guard at the Holocaust Museum. "The authorities don't think he was connected with anyone else in this particular crime and they're not looking for co-conspirators. He's had several decades of hate behind him; his wife said hatred ate him alive like a cancer."

Reality Check: Sticking up for David Letterman
Despite David Letterman's tasteless "jokes" about Sarah Palin and her daughters, blogger Arianna Huffington and failed talk show host Donny Deutsch jumped to the comic's defense. The Factor's Reality Check: "There are a few folks sticking up for Dave, and they are the usual far-left suspects." Reverend Jeremiah Wright has surfaced again, this time referring to "them Jews." The Factor's Check: "Wright's remarks were made before the Holocaust Museum murders, so I guess Salon.com and others will be blaming the reverend for that crime." Finally, some Chinese Muslim terrorists have been moved from Guantanamo Bay to Palau. The Factor's Check: "The USA will reportedly pay that island nation a whopping $200-million to host the Uighurs - our tax money at work!"
