Not much coverage of the Gaza-hostage situation over the weekend.  Important story, obviously, but not one the anti-Trump media wants to tell.

 

It is clear the Arab world sees President Trump as a “strong man” leader, something I spelled out in my Sunday column.

 

But more importantly, the Arabs believe Mr. Trump is good for business, so they are backing him against Hamas and other terrorist outfits.  In the Middle East, money talks, always has.  The Arab posture should help as Mr. Trump gets closer to tense economic negotiations with China.

 

Israel has to go along with the ceasefire because the USA is almost its only ally at this point.  A return of the hostages is a moral victory for Tel Aviv, which can effectively respond to any terrorist display in the future.

 

The leftist American media doesn’t like Israel much and wants nothing to do with any positive developments that might help Trump.
