O'Reilly on Hannity: O'Reilly on Hannity: CNN in Colossal Trouble; Bill's Big Announcement

Each Wednesday Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity discuss and debate the biggest stories of the day. On this week’s interview O’Reilly and Hannity’s focus on the bias of the media that has gotten increasingly worse over the years, mainly looking at the CNN organization and the law suit filed by Nicholas Sandmann’s legal team.

As seen in the case of the Catholic Covington High School student, Nicholas Sandmann, CNN never did “a single bit of fact gathering”, as Sean Hannity describes it. The national media is no longer searching for the truth and Americans are catching on. Nearly 80% of Americans, including 50% of Democrats do not believe they are getting the truth from the American media. Bill analyzes the reason for this distrust, stating, “six companies now control 90% of the national news flow. It used to be 50 companies. 50 companies 30 years ago and now it is down to six. So when you put that power into the hands of corporate executives who are under pressure to maximize profits, this is what you get.”

O’Reilly and Hannity discuss the serious trouble that CNN is now in trouble for one main reason. The network has just been acquired by AT&T. AT&T is not going to do what Time Warner did, which is allow CNN to be in business to promote liberal causes. What Nick Sandmann’s legal team is looking to do is put the network on trial, which will destroy them. This is such a serious lawsuit because this could destroy the whole CNN organization.

Sean Hannity adds another point to this stating, “once we got to the truth, which is once you see the Black Hebrew Israelites and the vile, vicious, horrible things they were screaming at the kids and Nicholas Sandmann said to his friends, ‘don’t respond’. That was perfect.”

Although this situation was one of the worst, this is not out of character for CNN or any other components of the left media.

Finally, Bill O’Reilly reveals his big announcement-- he will be back on national radio.
