The midterm elections are less than 70 days away, but neither party is offering any solutions to the problems vexing our country.
They’re falling back on hatred to mask what the real issues are by pointing to bad behavior on the other side.
One example: Affordability. Americans are having trouble paying the bills. When you ask a Republican the plan to lower prices, the response might be: “Well, at least we’re not Communists!”
The Democrats do the same thing. Ask them about affordability, and you hear: “Trump’s the devil!”
I expect this to continue until the November vote.
Why? Because the journalism industry in this country does not care about getting answers from either party. They are in the business of ideology.
The press is not interested in solving anything, which is why nothing ever gets solved.
