Democrats won in Texas Tuesday night because of the Hispanic vote. And it’s all about ICE.

I have a lot of respect for Tom Homan, the man behind the Immigration and Customs Enforcement day-to-day activities. 

I have no regard for Markwayne Mullin, the Head of Homeland Security. DHS can come out and explain these roundups, that’s not hard to do. They don’t bother. It’s a total lack of empathy, and they paid a price in Texas.  

62% of Hispanics voted for Democrats across the board. That’s up 11 points in two years. It’s all a reaction to ICE.

The agency is doing the right thing, but it’s not explaining why certain people are being arrested. 

If I were in charge, I’d clean house. And I’d start with Secretary Mullin.
