Was very happy not to watch the Oscar show last night because phonies on parade has zero appeal for me.  Having been the Executive Producer on four TV films, I know the world.  I had a relatively good experience partnering with legendary film guy Ridley Scott but I well understand the downside of show biz.

Right now there is a judgment jihad in Hollywood about politics and behavior.  Cheap shots and false perceptions are running riot.  The maddening part of all this is that many of those smearing people are, themselves, despicable human beings whose private lives are full of treachery and deceit.  I know some of these witch-hunters up close and personal.  They wouldn’t seek the truth if their lives depended on it.  They are largely PC nitwits incapable of serious thought.

Take note of the arrogance.  It will be the undoing of show business.

There are some noble people in the entertainment and information industry - folks who help those in need and seek true justice on behalf of people who have been harmed.  After achieving success, I am proud to have directly helped tens of thousands of my fellow citizens but did you ever hear that reported?

I think about our ongoing campaign to provide high-tech wheel chairs for severely wounded military people through the IndependenceFund.org charity.  We have raised tens of millions of dollars and have given away thousands of life-changing chairs.  A few celebrities like Gary Sinese helped us.  But almost all the money was donated by hard working, everyday Americans.

So spare me the Oscar telecast where artistic achievement has been replaced by idiotic bombast and shallow posturing.  That’s not entertainment.

Tonight on the No Spin News, we will analyze why President Obama could not or would not provide economic opportunities to working Americans, and how that is affecting President Trump.  Hope you’ll look in beginning at 7 eastern time.

Thanks for spending some time with us today.
