President Biden has nowhere to go in his speech tonight other than talking about his leadership in the Ukraine situation. There is little going right in this country and the actual state of the union is depressing. So, he'll begin with Ukraine and try to obscure his many mistakes domestically.

When you think about it, it is hard to fathom just how poor a leader Biden has been. My question to liberal acquaintances is always the same: give me one Biden policy that has improved the USA. Just one.  

As Hall & Oates once sang - no can do.

Therefore Mr. Biden's speech tonight will be heavily weighted toward telling the world that he and NATO are vanquishing the villainous Putin. He'll spread the glory around and may even compliment China for staying out of it.

In fairness, Biden is doing some good things in the Ukraine situation. But he continues to look away from a very bad thing he has done: restricting the US energy industry. Don't expect a mea culpa this evening.
