The Revolutionary War as never told before.

The breathtaking latest installment in Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard's mega-bestselling Killing series transports readers to the most important era in our nation's history, the Revolutionary War. Told through the eyes of George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and Great Britain's King George III, Killing England chronicles the path to independence in gripping detail, taking the reader from the battlefields of America to the royal courts of Europe. What started as protest and unrest in the colonies soon escalated to a world war with devastating casualties. O'Reilly and Dugard recreate the war's landmark battles, including Bunker Hill, Long Island, Saratoga, and Yorktown, revealing the savagery of hand-to-hand combat and the often brutal conditions under which these brave American soldiers lived and fought. Also here is the reckless treachery of Benedict Arnold and the daring guerilla tactics of the "Swamp Fox" Frances Marion. A must read, Killing England reminds one and all how the course of history can be changed through the courage and determination of those intent on doing the impossible.

Bill O'Reilly is the trailblazing TV journalist who has experienced unprecedented success on cable news and writing nonfiction books. Including the Killing series, there are currently 17 million O'Reilly books in print.  He lives on Long Island.

Martin Dugard is the New York Times bestselling author of several books of history. He and his wife live in Southern California with their three sons.

Be prepared, this is an amazing book that you just can't put down! The added 'golden' tidbits in the footnotes added to most pages provides another insight to the American Colonist and our fore-fathers. All I can say is WOW and WELL DONE Mr. O'Reilly and Mr. Dugard! I would love to see this book become required reading for high school students as well as those applying for US Citizenship. It provides a deep understanding of the sacrifices the American Colonists made in order to lay the foundation of this amazing country we now live in.

I finished Reading Killing England and I thought it was one of the best of the series. I learned a lot of new facts reading the book. It should be read in schools as it teaches a lot about the start of this country.
