The latest history book from bestselling author Bill O'Reilly.
Bill O'Reilly is the trailblazing TV journalist who has experienced unprecedented success on cable news and writing nonfiction books. Including the Killing series, there are currently 17 million O'Reilly books in print. He lives on Long Island.
The latest installment of the multimillion-selling Killing series is a gripping journey through the American West and the historic clashes between Native Americans and settlers.
The bloody Battle of Tippecanoe was only the beginning. It's 1811 and President James Madison has ordered the destruction of Shawnee warrior chief Tecumseh's alliance of tribes in the Great Lakes region. But while General William Henry Harrison would win this fight, the armed conflict between Native Americans and the newly formed United States would rage on for decades.
Bestselling authors Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard venture through the fraught history of our country's founding on already occupied lands, from General Andrew Jackson's brutal battles with the Creek Nation to President James Monroe's epic "sea to shining sea" policy, to President Martin Van Buren's cruel enforcement of a "treaty" that forced the Cherokee Nation out of their homelands along what would be called the Trail of Tears. O'Reilly and Dugard take readers behind the legends to reveal never-before-told historical moments in the fascinating creation story of America.
This fast-paced, wild ride through the American frontier will shock readers and impart unexpected lessons that reverberate to this day.

Unfortunately I haven't had the opportunity to read "KILLING CRAZY HORSE" yet! My husband scooped it up before I could get my hands on it and is devouring it! I am giving it a Five Star rating because I have read all of Bill's books and they have all been Five Stars, so why should this one be any different! Waiting patiently for my turn!

Bill,
Just finished reading Killing Crazy Horse. I could not put the book down. I consider myself to be fairly versed in history and topics covered in your various other Killing books were spot on in my opinion and very entertaining to read. But, I definitely had a major knowledge gap concerning the Indian Wars and your book was very informative and very very disturbing. I had no idea of the brutality of those Wars. I intend to continue reading and learning more about the Wars.
Thank you
Howard C.

Substantial, objective, forced the question 'Who o is the savage here?'
Granted thought-provoking perspective, calling for Divine Guidelines necessary for the coexistence of two extreme cultures/people.
My big takeaway - their understanding and ability to live in harmony with creation for hundreds of years.
What might have been if covenants were kept and honored ...
I might have majored in History if Dr. O'Reilly was our Department Chair ;-)
