Product Description
The Revolutionary War as never told before.

The breathtaking latest installment in Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard's mega-bestselling Killing series transports readers to the most important era in our nation's history, the Revolutionary War. Told through the eyes of George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and Great Britain's King George III, Killing England chronicles the path to independence in gripping detail, taking the reader from the battlefields of America to the royal courts of Europe. What started as protest and unrest in the colonies soon escalated to a world war with devastating casualties. O'Reilly and Dugard recreate the war's landmark battles, including Bunker Hill, Long Island, Saratoga, and Yorktown, revealing the savagery of hand-to-hand combat and the often brutal conditions under which these brave American soldiers lived and fought. Also here is the reckless treachery of Benedict Arnold and the daring guerilla tactics of the "Swamp Fox" Frances Marion. A must read, Killing England reminds one and all how the course of history can be changed through the courage and determination of those intent on doing the impossible.

Bill O'Reilly is the trailblazing TV journalist who has experienced unprecedented success on cable news and writing nonfiction books. Including the Killing series, there are currently 17 million O'Reilly books in print.  He lives on Long Island.

Martin Dugard is the New York Times bestselling author of several books of history. He and his wife live in Southern California with their three sons.

Killing England is a Masterpiece of historical truth of America's fight for Independence. Every emotion was held captive as I went on this incredible journey of the Revolutionary War with the writers of Killing England. I was spellbound as I seemly relived the war and felt the pain of the tremendous sacrifices that were made by our Founding Fathers and others who gave their lives unselfishly. The Brilliance of George Washington's leadership and his love for his Country to never give up in the fight for America's Independence I am grateful. Almost without our noticing it, a single generation of leaders have managed to eliminate the truth of America's greatness from the schools of higher education. Leaving the Hearts and Minds of many focusing only what they don't have instead of being grateful for those that fought and died, for the freedoms they now enjoy. Mr O'Reilly has given us a start. TAKE YOUR COUNTRY BACK .
