Product Description
Readers around the world have thrilled to Killing Lincoln, Killing Kennedy, and Killing Jesus-riveting works of nonfiction that journey into the heart of the most famous murders in history. Now from Bill O'Reilly, anchor of The O'Reilly Factor, comes the most epic book of all in this multimillion-selling series: Killing Patton.

General George S. Patton, Jr. died under mysterious circumstances in the months following the end of World War II. For almost seventy years, there has been suspicion that his death was not an accident-and may very well have been an act of assassination. Killing Patton takes readers inside the final year of the war and recounts the events surrounding Patton's tragic demise, naming names of the many powerful individuals who wanted him silenced.

Killing Patton was one of the best accounts I have read concerning this great general. I was dismayed that the final resting place of the hero of the Battle of Fort Driant, Pvt. Robert W. Holmlund, could not be located either in European cemeteries or Arlington National Cemetery as was mentioned on page 317, so I went to a website called "Find-a-Grave" and DID locate his gravesite as being in the Crystal Lake Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minn. It is good to know he finally did make it home.

Thank you for solving the mystery of Patton's death. I was ten years old when WWII ended. All of the Generals were heroes to me but "General Patton" topped my list. Keep up the good work Bill.

I bought this for my Father. He served under Patton in World War II. He is going to be 100 years young on June 18, 2016. I just hope he makes it as we are planning a blow-out Party for him next year. He loves to read so I thought this would be the perfect gift for him. Also, he was involved in the rescue of Bastone. (I might have misspelled that)
