Tuesday: Mike Pence in the No Spin Zone
The Truth about Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton
"In the wake of the latest email chaos, Donald Trump is gaining in the national polling. The latest ABC News tracking poll has Trump up by one, and the Real Clear Politics average has Clinton up by 2.2 percent, a virtual tie. No matter who wins, Americans will be uneasy. Let's take Hillary Clinton first. She has devoted herself to public service for three decades but has not achieved anything outstanding. Her major accomplishment was helping New York after the 9-11 attack. As secretary of state, Mrs. Clinton actively participated in President Obama's failed attempt to place the USA in a subordinate position. That policy is disastrous - look at what's happening in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Europe, the South China Sea, Iran and the Persian Gulf. Foreign policy under Barack Obama has been a chaotic failure, and if Hillary Clinton is elected president, there is no reason for optimism. She supported the failure of Obamacare and she has veered sharply left in her social beliefs. She doesn't even oppose partial birth abortion on the day a baby would be born. Mrs. Clinton is a tax-and-spend liberal and that policy has not stimulated growth for eight long years. On the other side is Donald Trump. Completely untested in geo-politics, Mr. Trump has made big promises that he will return prosperity and regain a leadership role for America. That will not be easy and Mr. Trump has no track record or achievements to bolster his rhetoric. He has a checkered business record, although, to be fair, he has overcome setbacks to build a powerful business brand. Mr. Trump is running as an outsider who promises to clean up Washington and that message alone has tremendous appeal. He is a blunt speaker who sometimes does not think before he makes statements. That has hurt him with minorities and Americans who fear confrontation. If he is elected, he will take office with the least amount of political experience of any commander-in-chief in history. So voters are faced with more negatives than positives in this election. That's the choice America faces. In the end, it all comes down to your belief system and which candidate better reflects that."
The Latest Polling
Polling experts Chris Anderson and Daron Shaw joined The Factor with the latest on national and state polls. "What we are seeing in the high quality national polls," Shaw said, "is a shift from a 7-point Clinton lead down to a 3- or 4-point lead. The question is how much is due to the email fracas and how much is a natural tightening. The Clinton campaign is concerned about African American turnout, but they are doing better among college educated white voters." Anderson added a frightful point October polling. "I have found that Halloween is not a trustworthy time in the polling field, I have seen some very strange samples. But the race is naturally tightening with Republicans coming home. It's clear that the Clinton campaign has a major election-day advantage with vastly more field offices and people going door-to-door."
Breaking Down the Electoral College
The Factor welcomed Fox News political numbers-cruncher Arnon Mishkin, who scrutinized the Electoral College. "Donald Trump's opportunity," Mishkin said, "comes in stealing states that we have on the Clinton side. I think it's very possible that he will win Arizona and he absolutely can win Florida. Iowa is another good bet and Nevada is a tossup state that Trump could easily win." Mishkin concluded, "Trump has a fair shot but I don't think he gets to 270 without Pennsylvania, the race could boil down to Pennsylvania." The Factor observed, "Wherever Libertarian Gary Johnson loses votes, Trump gains votes."
Gender & Politics
A far-left professor is arguing that Hillary Clinton's email issue is brought up only because she is a woman. Juan Williams and Lisa Boothe critiqued that argument. "There is a legitimate issue about the emails and national security," Williams began. "I think it's overblown, but it is not a gender-specific issue." Boothe absolutely lambasted the professor and her specious argument. "What kind of message is it sending to say that a woman can do anything and then use her gender as a shield? Hillary Clinton is trying to use her gender to sway women voters but she is running to be commander-in-chief. Do you think Putin will be sensitive to her feelings?"
Voter Intimidation Lawsuits
Donald Trump is urging his supporters to monitor polling places in order to prevent fraudulent voting. Kimberly Guilfoyle and Lis Wiehl examined the resulting legal dispute. "Hillary Clinton's campaign is behind four lawsuits," Wiehl reported, "claiming that the Trump campaign will be intimidating voters by hanging around polling places after they vote." Guilfoyle dismissed the suits and predicted their demise. "The judge will have to decide whether to honor a temporary injunction that prevents Trump supporters from watching the polls. No court is going to issue an injunction preventing anyone from being outside a polling place."
Gov. Pence on Hillary's Latest Troubles
The Factor welcomed Governor Mike Pence, who is campaigning for the Trump-Pence ticket in Pennsylvania. "Long before the FBI announcement," Pence declared, "polls around the country were showing tremendous momentum for our campaign. I truly believe this new avalanche of emails convinces millions of Americans that Hillary Clinton should never be elected president." When asked by The Factor point-blank whether Hillary Clinton is corrupt, Pence answered in the affirmative. "I think there has been outright corruption throughout the Clintons' careers," he said, "and her actions as secretary of state and pay-to-play politics were the kind of corruption that people are tired of." Finally, Pence expressed confidence that his campaign can carry Pennsylvania, saying, "The enthusiasm we see is like nothing I have seen in my lifetime since the days of Ronald Reagan."
Observations from the Campaign
In their last appearance before next Tuesday's vote, Greg Gutfeld and Bernard McGuirk put forth some final observations. Gutfeld mocked President Obama's prediction that, if elected, Hillary Clinton will be the victim of sexism. "President Obama is like a superhero," Gutfeld quipped. "He's a psychic feminist who can foretell that people will be sexist in the future." McGuirk ridiculed the Hollywood lefties who claim they will exit the country if the election doesn't go their way. "Bryan Cranston says he's going to Canada if Donald Trump is elected. A lot of these people say they're leaving, but none of them are going to Mexico. It's racist!"

Factor Words of the Day
Kennet Silva, San Pedro Sula, Honduras: "I live here in a Third World country, and the U.S. is teaching us how to have a corrupt election. May God save America."

Fred Max, St. Louis, MO: "Bill, your comments about Comey are completely wrong. Even Judge Jeanine blasted him for his actions so close to the election."

Cathy Marshall, Manassas, VA: "When Donna Brazile went low, Hillary did not object. She willingly stole the debate question and has not apologized."

Lorraine Kiewiet, Altadena, CA: "I am a graduate of DePaul University and am stunned they have banned the 'Unborn Lives Matter' poster on campus. I will no longer donate."
Fox Rules the Roost
Due in part to the contentious election, ratings for The Factor and Fox News have been through the roof. FNC had the top six programs in all of cable news, with The O'Reilly Factor at the top of the heap.
