Bill & Beck on Movies, the Looming Government Shutdown, & More

Glenn Beck starts off the weekly interview by asking Bill if he is prepared for the government shutdown. Bill says it is a frightening situation that we’re in and everyone should just move to Belarus. However, if you decide not to move, all that can be done is to pray that our country will be on the map tomorrow.

Bill says that he is a person who believes in America’s greatness and it’s sad that we’re seeing our country vanish before our eyes. Now, there are a few reasons why this is happening. First of all, people are becoming obsessed with their “machines” therefor, they don’t think about their country and really don’t care about it. Secondly, the press is as corrupt as it has ever been in our republic and lastly, politicians are still weasels. The devastating combination of all three is very worrisome because it’s going to shake the foundation of this nation. Americans are noble people, but it’s time to wake up and realize what is happening to our country.

Beck asks why the Democrats are letting this shutdown happen. Bill says it’s because they fear the economy is going to overwhelm their jihad to get Trump out of office. The economy is so hot, and things are going so well for the USA that if the Democrats don’t take down Trump now then their party will be in big trouble. New studies show that the Dow is growing faster than under any other president in their first year, except for FDR. The tax plan is accomplishing so many progressive goals and everyone is able to see the economy is moving in the right direction.

However, the main thing that seems to be holding back Trump’s approval rating is the fact that he tweets, and his tweets get him into big trouble. Trump also faces the media who attack him relentlessly, there’s never been a president who has faced this type of scrutiny from the media and the entertainment industry.

Beck brings up the walk of life, which is a pro-life movement and will likely not receive the attention that the anti-Trump movement gets this weekend. However, the Supreme Court is hearing a case about how pro-life and adoption centers will now be required by the state to prominently display Planned Parenthood and abortion clinic posters. Now, abortion is already legal in this country and it’s not going to be overturned, but there’s a movement that wants abortions to stay legal. Beck says he believes that in the U.S. we’re starting to see the turn of the French revolution. The Democratic Party is scaring away the average democrat because the party is taking extreme actions, such as siding with Antifa. Now, this is the lunatic fringe of the Democratic Party, but Beck says he hopes that there is a point where the mainstream, middle American Democrat notices that these people are nuts.

Bill ends the podcast by saying that someone needs to harness all of the Democratic chaos, present it to the American people and tell them that they have got to speak out against this. Right now, there isn’t anyone who will do that.
