As summer is finally here, there seems to be a malaise in Washington even before the big heat drops on the federal city.  President Trump is stilling learning how to govern and now faces a grueling health care law situation.  The good news for the President is that the Russian thing is losing steam, even though the Trump-hating media will do anything to keep it alive.

Mr. Trump would be wise to ignore provocations from his detractors and get the new health care bill passed. Also, ramp up the tax cut situation.  If he gets those two things done, and the economy continues to grow, his power will increase mightily.

It's all about discipline and focus for the President.  His crucial summer is upon us.  And it is crucial.
