Trump vs. Musk
The anti-Trump cadres in America are thrilled President Trump and Elon Musk are feuding.  Perfect story for them, but as far as the regular Americans are concerned, it means little.

I have no idea about the President's association with Mr. Musk, not privy to any inside information.  I believe Elon did a good job exposing government waste and paid a heavy price for his efforts.  I've had to deal with the vicious left myself, so I understand the unfairness of what happened to him.

President Trump is a strong personality who reacts emotionally at times.  Over my 35-year friendship with him, he's been disenchanted with my analysis a number of times.  Who hasn't been?  But I think he respects my honesty.

The goal here has always been to apply fairness to the President. That's all I can do.

Both Trump and Musk are top-line personalities.  That's a rough neighborhood.  Lots of ego and confrontation.  You don't get where they are by being Little Bo Peep.

I hope there's detente.  Both men are forces of nature.  It's best for the country that they strive to improve it. Feuding doesn't do that.

Enjoy the weekend.

2026 Midterms
This time next year, 2026, there will be Intense congressional campaigning going on coast-to-coast.  The midterms in November '26 are historically important.

That's because President Trump is redesigning the federal government and needs four years to accomplish his vision. If the Democrats gain control of the House or Senate, Mr. Trump will be severely constrained.

Much depends on whether Trump's bold moves will improve the economy.  We'll know that late this year as data emerges.

But another major factor is the radicalization of the Democratic Party.  It opposes nearly every solution President Trump is putting forth.

Cracking down on illegal immigration?  No from the left.  Cutting entitlement spending and downsizing government? Nope.

Stopping liberal indoctrination in colleges? Democrats oppose.  Biological men competing against women in sports? Dems generally support.  Tariffs to encourage fair trade?  Oppose.  Strict punishment for criminals?  No way.  Hiring and school admissions based on skin color.  All day long.

The list of progressive policies is almost endless, and it's like a python strangling the Democratic Party.  Do American voters really want to return to the Biden years? Are there prominent Democrats criticizing those years?

Not that I can find.

So, the midterm campaigns are likely to be difficult for the left, and that's a big break for Donald Trump.

Ignoring the Outrage
If you follow our news coverage and analysis, and more than 30 million folks did in May, you know that I stay completely away from the "outrage du jour" unless it directly affects your life.

The corrupt corporate media is obsessed with the latest outrageous presidential texts and ridiculous conspiracy theories. That's how social media nitwits get attention, by peddling moronic scenarios and/or launching partisan-driven personal attacks.

For serious people, that's an astounding waste of time. But as we know, the confused heavily outnumber the astute not only in America but also around the world.

Last week, we demonstrated exactly how important information should be delivered with my China experience.  I financed and researched the entire journey.  That way, I am beholden to no one.  There is no corrupt organization telling me what to say.  I hope you will benefit from our analysis regarding China and the USA, the most important story in the world.

Sorry, Taylor Swift.

And the next time you see something stupid in the media, let me know. Bill@BillOReilly.com.  We're going to start holding people accountable.

The Problem With CNN
In real life, I don't watch a lot of TV  news because I learn very little by doing so. Yes, I run my own news agency, so I have access to information far beyond most folks. But the main reason television media fails me is because it's incredibly lazy.

While in the Far East at the end of May, I watched CNN in the evening because that was my only source for American news. No Fox, no NBC. CNN has the overseas market locked up.  Because of the 12-hour time difference, I was consuming CNN's morning programming. It featured skilled broadcasters, but the presentation was mostly biased and foolish.

Here's what the network does.  It selects a topic, say Trump's battle with Harvard. Then, it brings in a guest who bashes the President without challenge or even interruption.  Over and over again, this happens.  Liberal guests bloviate while the anchor naps.

And I don't blame the news person. It's incredibly boring. Predictable. A waste of time.

This lazy formula isn't working, as CNN's viewership has dramatically declined. Yet the producers seem satisfied because every day it's the same thing.

Why?  I don't know. It's not difficult to mix it up with different points of view. But apparently, that's beyond CNN's capability.

Wrap Up of Bill's Asian Adventure

Back in the USA from the Far East. For me, a very positive development. Not being nationalistic here but America has far more options than any other country. There's not even a close second.   Read More
