Predictably, the corrupt U.S. media put a negative spin on the Trump-Putin call Monday. The anti-Trump line is "same old" as the President did not get a ceasefire out of bad Vlad in Ukraine. Instead, more "negotiations" have been set.
Here's some perspective the corporate press will never provide. Donald Trump genuinely wants the killing in Ukraine to stop. He understands that only Putin can make that a reality. No other option exists. So Mr. Trump is allowing the evil Russian far more latitude than he usually would.
Essentially, the President is hoping.
I believe, but cannot state with absolute certainty, that Trump knows the evil he is dealing with here. If you read my upcoming book "Confronting Evil", you will understand that Vladimir Putin is a no remorse killer. Rehab is not going to happen.
But if Vlad can get some Ukrainian territory and walk away with a favorable trade deal, it might be enough. Certainly, that's an appeasement. Is it worth yet another try? Yes. If the West moves against Vlad, and it may have to, chaos will ensue.
So there you go. Trump's critics have nothing. As usual. Kind of boring at this point.

Tough to digest President Biden and the cancer news. Perplexing. Presidents have yearly physicals. How did they miss that in 2024? We're gathering information for tonight.
It's safe to say the USA had some luck, even if Joe did not. Had he won a second term, something he desperately wanted, America would have been in deep trouble.
The world is extremely turbulent right now. This country HAS to project strength.
Woodrow Wilson and Grover Cleveland were both infirmed in their presidential terms. But the public didn't know. They hid Wilson in the White House after his stroke, and his wife Edith ran the Executive Branch. Cleveland disappeared to Buzzards Bay in Cape Cod after being diagnosed with cancer of the mouth.
Of course, those deceptions could not happen today. Wait. I'm thinking about the Biden mental acuity thing. I guess deception did take place. We'll have to confirm that with the corporate media.
I sincerely hope Joe Biden can survive this and doesn't suffer too much in the process. My father died of cancer. I know what this is. Prayers for the Bidens.

Writing on the Mediate website, Colby Hall analyzes how the three cable networks are covering the book "Original Sin," which chronicles how Democrats and much of the corporate media covered up President Biden's decline in office.
Hall's column is well reported and basically says MSNBC doesn't want any part of the book, and Fox News is gloating about the expose but hammering coauthor Jake Tapper because he's admitted he looked the other way during Biden's term.
But lost in the Biden furor is the motivation for the now obvious press cover-up. Once again, it comes down to hating Trump. I submit that even after the current exposition, many leftist press people would rather have Biden in office than Trump. Right now. Give me more Joe, even if he's delusional. Better than the devil himself.
No media person would ever admit this, but it's true. Hate means never having to say you're sorry.

Recently, I discussed giving Vietnam Vets in America a special proclamation this Memorial Day. I talked it over with the President of the United States himself. Briefly.
I hope that comes to pass. Young American men fought bravely in Southeast Asia against a Communist army that was intent on subjugating their countrymen. The war was similar to Korea, where U. S. forces prevented the communist North Koreans from taking over the South.
Today, North Korea is a frightening totalitarian state, while South Korea is a prosperous democracy. Brave Americans did that.
In Vietnam, the situation turned out differently largely because of President Lyndon Johnson, a deceitful and incompetent Commander-in-Chief. In the end, the Communist North violated the peace treaty engineered by President Nixon, and American blood could not prevent the political catastrophe. No freedom in Vietnam to this day.
But hundreds of thousands of U.S. troops tried to prevent totalitarianism at great sacrifice. And they should be remembered and honored. Our presence in Vietnam was noble even if the result ultimately failed.
And so, this coming Memorial Day, the Vietnam Vets should be honored. It's the right thing to do even after 50 years.

One of the biggest-selling books of the year is a self-help tome called "The Let Them Theory" by Mel Robbins. The central theme is we should stop trying to control others and concentrate on being better individuals.
Now, the last self-help book I bought ... wait...I never read one. That's because I am beyond help. I live in a zone of self-reliance using a philosophy based upon Judeo-Christian philosophy and situation ethics, which requires experience, not introspection. So, I don't believe Mel Robbins can help me. Mel Brooks, yes. I need as many laughs as I can get.
The Robbins book is similar to one based on Asian philosophy entitled "Do Nothing." Same approach. Many people will disappoint you; nothing you can do but absorb it. Don't make yourself crazy.
I understand. However, I dissent. Improving yourself is important, but so is confronting miscreants. There is some wisdom in not sweating the small stuff, another long-ago book. Ignoring negativity when it doesn't much matter is smart.
One personal example. The corruption of the American media drives me nuts. I probably mention it far too much. The deteriorating press has actually made me a ton of money as my independent news presentation is prospering. Mel Robbins might scold me for focusing on the corruption because it has made me stronger. But I can't ignore it.
Fifty years in a profession will do that. I'm not letting them, Mel. I'm calling them out!

Here's proof the Democrats remain bewildered, stuck in a time warp too dense for even "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" to consider.
After President Trump announced his Executive Order to install lower prices on Medicare drugs, the Dems should have raised a collective glass in approval.
Of course, the party did not, as anti-Trump zealots descended into a myriad of gibberish zones. It was another sad spectacle.
Once upon a time, Democrats actually wanted to help the folks. Lower costs for federal medicines obviously makes the lives of senior citizens better. Joe Biden could have done this but did not. And the Democratic leadership didn't push him to do it.
Why not?
Don't know for sure, but I suspect taking on the powerful pharmaceutical industry was simply too much for the party. In fact, other than massive and unending government spending, the Dems don't seem to have anything else in the playbook. Biden didn't even try to negotiate the cost of military trans treatments down. $52 million a year on that and all the Bud Light you want.

One of the reasons we have about a 90 percent retention rate among BillOReilly.com Premium Members is our reporting on President Trump. Alert Americans well understand the difficulty in assessing the truth about the most controversial Chief Executive in history. And that designation is not even close. Lyndon Johnson would be a distant second.
While it is true that millions of Americans do not seek the truth about Mr. Trump, they are happy to either love or loathe him, it is imperative to those living smart lives to actually know what's going on in the White House. That's where I, your humble correspondent, come in.
I know. My sources are impeccable.
Here's some backup. After his inauguration, the President set out to feverishly impose his agenda. There are two tracks to this. The first is obliterating failed Biden polices like the open border and constraining regulations on energy. The Trump administration knocked those down in record time.
The second pathway is the personal stuff: punishing those who Trump believes corrupted the justice system, as well as redesigning how our economy will function going forward. That's the tariff/trade deals play. Here, the going has been much tougher as the Trump's resistance movement is attacking him in the federal courts.
The other day, I was answering questions from a friend who does not support President Trump. Rather than try to convince him to change his mind, I simply said that if the President is successful, the country will be dramatically stronger going forward. Then I ran down the list: more employment opportunities with higher pay, peace abroad, far less waste of tax dollars, including breaking the leftist ideologies that dominate the nation's colleges.
Yes, the guy pushed back on some details as he should have. But I summed it up by saying that although I might implement things a bit differently, most of Trump's goals are essentially noble. Tough to argue with that. And he didn't.
It was fascinating to watch secular newspeople try to analyze the new Pope, Leo XIV. Even the Holy Spirit could not help them because the culture they embrace generally believes religion is for morons. I call it the gospel of Bill Maher.
"In the beginning, God said, 'Do whatever you want.' And God saw that it was good."
Anyway, many reporters were happy they got a free trip to Rome, which has some of the best food in the world. One word: gelato.
But as far as understanding the Vatican dynamic, forget it.
A number of American reporters fixated on whether the new Pope will chastise President Trump, celebrate gay and trans stuff, as well as champion women as deacons in the church.
That's what the leftists want, in addition to few legal limits on migration. If Leo gets down with that, he'll receive positive news coverage. If he doesn't, he'll be scorned. Kind of like the Nazarene himself.
Conservative Catholics, of course, are somewhat suspicious of the new Pope because they generally oppose change. Pope Francis offended many traditional American Catholics by embracing President Biden, who publicly promoted abortion on demand for any reason. Biden's position is so extreme, a Bishop in Virginia forbade him from receiving Communion.
Just an aside to old Joe. Time is growing short, and St. Peter has a ledger.
Alongside his coziness with Mr. Biden, Francis made it clear he didn't like Donald Trump's migrant policies. Okay. Nothing wrong with a Pontiff having an opinion. But traditionalists are not unreasonable in questioning the late Pope's reasoning.
Many of my secular acquaintances, I affectionately call them pagans, are perplexed by the Vatican story. To them, Francis, Leo, and Benedict are old guys who have little relevance, and what about those robes?
Lost on the pagans is the philosophy of Jesus, which commands compassion and justice. The Vatican is the most powerful entity in the world, designed to promote Christian doctrine. Therefore, essentially, it's a good thing even if some of the men involved are not good.
I hope I have the opportunity to meet the new Pope. I learned much in my short time with Francis. There is good and evil in the world, and "the gates of hell" seem to be gathering momentum.
That's the true reason why the ascension of Pope Leo is such an important ongoing story.
Somebody tell the press.

It took about 30 minutes before the ideological zealots zeroed in on Pope Leo XIV. Far-right influencer Laura Loomer called him a Marxist while the real Marxists desperately searched for anything anti-Trump that Cardinal Robert Prevost might have said in the past.
Such a cheap game. Catholic clerics, as well as the faithful, are directed by scripture to help the poor. Most undocumented migrants fall into that category. Assisting them while obeying the law is imperative for Roman Catholics.
I hope the new Pope will depart somewhat from Pope Francis' view that controlling the flow of humanity around the world is not important. Francis, in my humble view, did not take into account the negative social consequences of unfettered immigration; chaos always leads to destruction. That's why laws exist.
It is possible to help people in need lawfully. My charitable foundation has done it for 25 years. That is the noble way to go. If you are hurting some people in order to help others, a reset is obviously needed.
Pope Leo, the first American Pope, can do much good for the planet. I will offer Mass for him this Sunday. I am fervently rooting for his success and wisdom. In this world, we desperately need forces for good.

Remember the media hysteria over President Trump allegedly running for a third term? Lots of empty rhetoric on that one. He won't do it.
Then there was making Canada a state. Fury all over the place. Apparently, that's not happening. Invading Panama, no! Occupying Greenland? Don't think so. Making Gaza into Miami Beach? Doesn't look like it.
Do you sense a pattern here? An incredibly foolish media falling for every single provocative thing Mr. Trump says.
The latest is obeying the Constitution. Apparently, Kristen Welker of NBC News is very, very concerned Mr. Trump will ignore it. Here's what she said on Sunday.
"Don't you need to uphold the Constitution of the United States as President?"
To which Mr. Trump replied: "I don't know. I have to respond again by saying I have brilliant lawyers that work for me and they are obviously going to follow what the Supreme Court says."
Okay. But the headline was misleading. It simply said Trump "doesn't know" if he has to follow the Constitution.
The discussion was about due process for undocumented migrants. The Supreme Court will have to make some rulings on that shortly.
So, the President's answer was not a repudiation of the law, was it?

We all pay taxes, so our elected officials will have money to protect us and solve problems. That's Civics 101. But you may have noticed that few schools teach civics any longer. Certainly, the politicians have noticed.
My current take is the Democrats really are not trying to solve difficult situations. They are solely interested in opposing Trump. Here are some questions to back my assertion up.
What is the Democrat's solution to the 37 trillion dollar debt?
To illegal drugs being smuggled in from Mexico?
To ending the wars in Ukraine and Gaza?
To the yearly trillion dollar trade deficit?
To preventing Iran from building nuclear weapons?
To the exploding cost of health care?
President Biden had no specific plans to improve any of those things and it looks like his party is carrying on Joe's tradition. Maybe I missed Democratic-sponsored legislation on those issues, but I doubt it.
Much easier to oppose solutions from the Trump administration. Right?

Why did Mexico’s President reject Trump’s offer to target cartels with US troops?
Smart Life: The Global Post is offering 50% off for new BillOReilly.com subscribers.
There is something rotten in Mexico City. According to reports in The Wall Street Journal, Presidente Claudia Sheinbaum is refusing to cooperate with the Trump administration in joint military action against the drug cartels.
As you may know, President Trump signed an Executive Order designating the cartels as "terrorist organizations." That means that the USA can hunt down and kill or incarcerate these savages anywhere in the world. The cartels are responsible for hundreds of thousands of drug overdose deaths in America, so the EO is absolutely essential to protecting our country.
But, somehow, Ms. Sheinbaum doesn't see it that way. The mystery is why not? She should want the cartels destroyed, and obviously, Mexico can't do it. According to a variety of human rights groups, the vicious drug gangs are responsible for more than 500,000 murders in Mexico since 2006. A half million dead. And Sheinbaum is resisting American help?
It is a fact that many Mexican government and military officials have been bribed by the cartels. Everyone knows that. Therefore, it is imperative that President Sheinbaum explain her idiotic position. Listen, lady, you have a chance to restore dignity and a measure of safety to your country. Are you opposed to that?

As we reported on Thursday's No Spin News, a new Emerson College Poll says that six months after the election of 2024, most Americans are standing by their votes. A canvas of 1,000 voters shows 93 percent of Kamala Harris supporters would back her again, while 94 percent of Trump voters are standing by their man.
This illustrates two things: that most people don't like to admit mistakes and that the American electorate remains deeply divided. Harris and Trump have almost nothing in common. It's like comparing Porterhouse steak to kale.
Loyalty is a good thing; blind loyalty is not. Kamala Harris was a solution-free candidate who ran on the Biden status quo, which was a disaster.
Donald Trump is a disruptive national presence whose legacy will be defined over the next 12 months. He has a shot to enter Ronald Reagan territory or, if the economy craters, he may dance with the specter of Herbert Hoover.
So, that's where we are on the national political scene. I am standing by my Trump vote. I very much hope my vision last November will turn out to be perspicacious. I will admit failure if it doesn't.

As we analyzed on the No Spin News, the ABC prime time interview with President Trump was a fiasco as well as a time waster. That's because correspondent Terry Moran spent far too much time on this Garcia guy who was deported to El Salvador. You know the story.
President Trump believes Garcia is a member of the designated terror group MS-13. He believes that because he wants to believe it and, no one on the planet is going to dissuade him.
Moran should have known that. But I'm guessing his bosses told him to hammer Trump with the Supreme Court's "facilitate" Garcia's return order.
In the end, the Supremes will have to issue another ruling because the MS-13 allegation is still undefined. The President is hoping stronger evidence emerges. That's why the slow walk on Garcia is taking place.
With the tariffs, Putin, China, Iran nukes, etc., the Garcia thing is way down the list of importance. But not to ABC.
And we will see you this evening for the No Spin News.
