The bitterness and anger surrounding the massacre at the high school in South Florida is a good thing if positive action comes from it.  But nothing constructive will happen if hateful partisans hold sway.

The majority of Americans do not want the federal government to ban defensive weapons but will support reasonable restrictions in the gun area.
